Supporting excellence in teaching

چکیده
This focus of this article is the impact role mentor on academic staff within an institutional framework for CPD. A study was undertaken to explore mentors’ experiences participating in a pilot project that established support successful engagement with framework. Qualitative data from one group and interview were analysed using thematic emotion coding. The analysis revealed challenges rewards associated highlighted need practical development opportunities mentors, as well greater clarity roles responsibilities. An outcome enhanced project.
